The house
A family craft, rooted in Jaipur
Founded in Jaipur in 1988, Gem Plaza is a family jewellery house carried forward across generations. More than 150 craftspeople cut, set, polish and finish each piece in our own Sitapura atelier. The Gyan Museum, named for our founder, is the family's other undertaking.

Concept discussion
We start with a conversation: the occasion, the stone you have in mind or already own, how the piece will be worn, and what you want to spend.
Step 2 of 3
Ideation and design
Sketches first, then CAD and, where it helps, a model. Changes are made on the drawing rather than on the metal.

Handcrafting
The piece is cut, set, polished and finished at our own bench in Sitapura, by the people who make everything else we sell.

The family's other collection
The Gyan Museum is named for our founder and holds the collection he spent a lifetime assembling: more than 2,500 objects across three thousand years. It can be seen alongside a visit to the workshop.

Come and see them in person
The showroom is on M.I. Road, in the working centre of Jaipur, a short walk from the jewellery shops around Johari Bazaar. The atelier at Sitapura can be seen by appointment.

The M.I. Road showroom is open without an appointment — walk in during opening hours. The Sitapura atelier and the Gyan Museum are by appointment only, and a visit there is confirmed once we have replied, subject to availability.
